Ireland

Updated: Apr 22, 2024

I traveled around Ireland and fell in love with the history, castles, and whiskey. The hikes, libraries, and touristy follow-alongs made my trip.

Dublin is filled with a huge number of attractions. In Europe, Dublin is one of the most historically important, most visited cities. As the capital of Ireland, Dublin has culture, art, architecture, and much more. One can also calm themselves in the walkable streets.

Dublin’s top tourist attractions:

Guinness Storehouse

Guinness Storehouse is the most popular attraction among tourists in Dublin since 2000. The seven floors of the Storehouse surround a glass atrium shape similar to a Guinness pint. Each floor of the Storehouse features interactive experiences. One can enjoy the finest cuisine of Ireland at the Guinness. From the head of the pint, experience the outstanding panoramic views of Dublin City.

Walking across Bridge Ha'Penny

One should walk across Bridge Ha'Penny while visiting Dublin. It is one of the best things tourists love to do. In 1816, Ha'Penny Bridge was built over the River Liffey to replace many ferries. Tourists can also kayak under the bridge with city Kayaking for a more unique experience.

Trinity College of Dublin

Trinity college's campus is filled with lots of architectural styles. It is one of the popular architectural sites and was founded in 1592 under Queen Elizabeth I. Trinity graduate Thomas Burgh designed the must-see attraction, the old library of the campus. The ornate interior has 200,000 volumes that include Greek, Roman, Celtic, and Egyptian scripts.

Little Museum at Dublin

Dublin's Little Museum is the hidden gem situated in the Middle of all historical sights. At the top of Dawson Street, strolling from Fusilier's Arch is such an amazing experience. It is a must-visit attraction that shows the past of Dublin city and how the people of Dublin lived their life. This Museum also hosts lots of temporary exhibitions, permanent installations, and fun events.

Farmleigh House

Farmleigh House, the official guest house, has important collections, a farm, and an art gallery. It is located in Phoenix Park. It is also available for local people to go on tour and learn about the estate's history. Tourists can take a guide to learn about the history. Enjoy the various paintings from artists of Irish in gallery exhibitions.
